Hello and welcome back! In the previous chapter, Theo worked on his promotion tasks but while doing that, he learned that aunt Mandy passed away. Gen 5 is slowly leaving the world ;-; But looking at it in a positive light, the Legacy continues with other beautiful Sims! Anyways, I got bored watching Theo, so I followed the kids to school, and there Poppy finally found her first friend: a guy named Layton. She already got a huge crush on him too, haha! We'll definitely come back on that later. For now, let's focus on Theo. He got back behind the computer after a short night rest and finally reached level 8 of the Writing Skill, which is needed for his last promotion. (Theo) "That went pretty smooth. Can't say that about this dang Painting Skill..." Well, at least you got a masterpiece. (Theo) "Nice!! Can we keep it?" I don't think so. You are in a though spot money-wise, and this painting is worth A LOT. I kinda forgot that selling paintings is a great way of making money. Now this feels less like a pain xD In the meantime, We're celebrating Cameron's birthday. He aged into a young adult and gained the Slob trait. Right now I'm kind of happy that the kids are Vampires and stop ageing after this point, cause with Theo's aspiration it'll take a while before we can continue with Generation 7. Now I only need to make sure that important Human-Sims don't age up too fast. This seems like the perfect career for Cameron. Okay, let's speed up this process! After an entire day (and night) of painting, Theo finally maxed the Painting Skill! (Theo) "Just in time for Winterfest!" Yeah! Let's light the tree! (Ronan) Is it really necessary that ALL of us are lighting the tree?" (Poppy) "Of course!" Ahhh, so cosy. Outside I spotted a few Sims in Christmas mood, but honestly, isn't that REALLY cold? (Ronan) "I mean, it's not like we're dressed to be outside either." (Cameron) "True." While the boys are talking about the cold weather, Poppy is distracted by this message she just received from Layton. (Poppy) "Hey guys, I'm sorry but I have to go somewhere really fast. Don't worry, I'll be back soon!" Just seeing Layton gave Poppy all the warmth she needed. (Poppy) "I hope you don't mind, but I got a Winterfest present for you." (Layton) "I got you something too.. I didn't wrap it, but I hope you still like it." (Poppy). Oh, a rose, for me??" (Poppy) "I love it, thank you." Oh come on guys, just kiss already. It's always the surprised face that gets me, hahahah! Anywayssss, they are now a couple :D I think Poppy's happy. Oh, right, I almost forgot!! Ronan also met his first friend at school today! She looks really cute. He also met Lawrence, Layton's brother. I think I'm gonna turn Lawrence and Ronan into best friends. Okay, back to Winterfest. This is probably the best Winterfest gift Theo could have gotten. He maxed the Arts Critic's career!! (Father Winter) "Ho ho ho. Did someone say... Winterfest gifts?" (Cameron) "Yeah, I'd like a gift!" (Father Winter) "Ah, yes. Cameron, this gift is for you." (Cameron) "Thank you!!" Father Winter also had a package for Theo... Ronan... (Cameron). Wait, why do you get something SO BIG???" Poppy... (Cameron) "You too?! Nah man, that's really unfair." Abbey was already asleep, and Father Winter disappeared before I could wake her up. I guess no package for her :( (Cameron) "I also wanted another, better gift like my siblings!!" Nope, not happening. While Cameron continued being mad about his present being smaller than the ones of his siblings, Theo decided to join Abbey in bed and get some rest.
(Theo) "I can still hear Cameron mumbling..." He'll be fine. Goodnight!
