I made a basement with different rooms while everyone was still asleep. This is Generation 1's Red Room. The red color stands for generation 1 (duh) and I'll place all of the Generation 1-related Collections in this room (so, the 20 Experimental Food Prints). Every generation with Collections will get a room like this one in it's own color. On with the story. The Ridleys start their day in the kitchen. Liz is making a gourmet-meal breakfast. Alison: "Good morning, mom!" Liz: "Good morning, Alison." Alison starts to clean yesterday morning's leftovers. Liz: "Oh, you don't have to clean the table, I'll do that." Alison: "No no, it's okay. I have some spare time before leaving to school." Liz: "That's really sweet of you." Alison is the best daughter ever. Ella (in the next room): "I'm off to school!" Liz (to Alison): "Don't you need to go with her?" Alison: "I'll go right after I finish this. Alright, that will do. See you tonight!" Liz: "Good luck today!" There's something different about Liz. THOSE ARM MUSCLES!! Liz: "My hard work finally paid off." Liz: "My little toddler is about to age!!!!" You sure are exited. Well, I am too. Let me see what you look like, Oliver Ridley!!! Oliver is the next heir, so we need to pick his traits very carefully. He'll need Music Lover, Dance Machine and Bro. I chose to give him Music Lover first. For his kids aspiration I just picked Whiz Kid, but I don't really know why. Oliver has wavy hair just like Ella, BUT his hair color is as light as Brents. I like the fact that the three children all have different hair colors. Oliver, you're looking good man. You're going to be an acceptable next heir. I bought Oliver a kids violin so he could practice his creative skill a bit. The violin is in his inventory so nobody can steal it from him. I just wanted to show you guys. Liz: "Oh, you're already making your homework? But it's your birthday!" Oliver: "I know, but if I make it now, I can relax later." Liz: "Smart kid. Well, if you're going to make homework, I'm going to cook some more dishes until I have to work. Take good care of the house when I'm gone, okay?" Oliver: "Will do." So... Apparently this is 'taking good care of the house while mom is gone'. Oh no... ..... I don't think Oliver will come in to fix it. I'm being ignored by the next heir. By the time the girls came back home, I had already forgotten about the puddle. I was thinking about changing the house a little bit (again). I want a hobby room for the future, but there's no space... Yet. I suddenly remembered the 'bb.moveobjects'-cheat and how it could be useful. I could fit the study desk in the little kid rooms AND they could still sleep in their bed. I'm a genius. The family computer is now here. I moved the door from the toilet room to the side and replaced the old bookcase with a smaller one. This actually looks really good! The old study room was empty, but in my opinion it was a little too small to become a hobby room. Soooo... I made the study room the new heir bedroom. Now I have this whole room available for future hobbies and other stuff! It'll stay empty for now, but I just wanted this room to be available when I need it. Now that we're done with that, it's time to go to the restaurant again! I went into build mode and put these tables next to each other so the five of them could all sit together. I actually like this setting more. Waiter: "Today's Chef choice for the appetizer is the 'Glacier Infused Iceberg Lettuce'. Brent: "We'll take that, please." Waiter: "Thank you. We'll bring it to you as soon as it's ready." That's the cute red-haired waiter from yesterday! Ella: "I like his red hair." Your sister and mother also have red hair. Ella: "That's different red. I like this red more. I want a friend with hair like that." Yeaaaah, the chance that that's going to happen is.... Little. But I'll try. Suddenly Brent and Liz were alone because all the kids went to the toilet. Brent: "Do you know why they all need to go to the toilet so suddenly?" Liz: "Maybe they don't like the food we ordered and now they're running away." Brent: "Hmm.. That's indeed a possibility." Waiter: "I'm not mistaken with those three dishes, right?" Liz: "No, absolutely not. Our kids are upstairs, they'll come soon. Hopefully." Waiter: "Oh, okay. Well, enjoy your meal, and if I can help you with something else, don't hesitate to ring a bell." The kids didn't come downstairs. Maybe the restaurant isn't a place for kids. This picture is proof that the kids can actually reach their bed, even with the desk and chair in the little room. Side note: For some reason I really like way too crowded rooms. I think the Tiny Living pack would be something I would love. I'm going to consider buying that pack. Lighthouse Adventure time! Brent used the wood glue to trap the old man. That 'wait, what?' really got me, hahahaha! That was EXACTLY my reaction! Are they done now? Is the Lighthouse story really done? Both Brent and I are not sure. Anyways, it was a good story and if it's really the end, I'm okay with that. Back in the basement I noticed something. These photo's are different for sure, but for some reason they look like this when I add a frame. When I put them back in the inventory, you can see clearly that they are different. Should I be worried, or should I just hang them up and don't care? Hmmm... I really like this room as the new heir sleeping room. Now they can wake up looking at the MySims Trophies on the other side of the wall (yep, they stayed there, and I think that's a really good place for them)!
Goodnight!

Love the rooms concept. That will be one massive basement though with all the generations by the end.
