Kai: "The babies need me!" Jess: "I'll help too." Kai: "No no no. You can work for school. I'll handle the kids." With that, Kai flies through the wall. Jess: "That's so sweet of him. I'll just go through the door though." Yeah, much recommended. Jess: "You really don't need my help?" Kai: "No, no, I'm alright here! You just do whatever you need to do!" Jess: "Thank you, Kai. I really appreciate it." Jess starts working on her school project, but then she remembers something. Jess: "Oh, Ninja. I forgot to visit dad yesterday." Ninja: "Woof?" See? I just forget everything. Jess immediately ran downstairs, told Kai where she was going to and poof, there she is. Oliver: "You are one day too late, but I'm still happy you came." Dulce: "Ah, don't be like that, Oliver. She came. That's the important thing here!" Oliver: "Welcome to our humble home!" Jess: "It's so... Empty..." I've never been inside the Ridley Retirement home until today so I was as surprised as Jess. Maybe I need to renovate it once. But not today. Jess: "At least there's a bookcase. I don't need more." Oliver and Dulce were making brunch to eat together with Jess. Jess: "Can I help with something?" Dulce: "No no. You just relax. We'll call you when it's ready." And while Jess is enjoying brunch with her parents, Kai is still busy with the babies. Jess went to school for her final exam after brunch. She came home with a 'decent grade'. Jess: "A decent grade? That's not good enough... I need to study more for the next test in a few hours..." Some hours later... Jess: "Time to rock this exam!!!" Or not. Another decent grade, hahahahaha. At least she reached writing level 6. Jess: "Okay, now I'm really going to work hard! -- Oops, my paper fell on the ground, let me get that..." And then her lovely brother called. Why oh why is nobody giving her time to work for school? Julian: "Hey sis, can I co-" Jess: "Yeah, please come over! As soon as you can! I need feedback for my presentation." Julian: "Oh.. Okay!" Having someone to give feedback on a presentation is a good thing, right? Julian: "That presentation is looking gooood, sis!" Jess: "Really? Can I practice the presentation once while you are listening?" Julian: "Sure, go on!" And so, Jess starts talking and Julian carefully listens to every word (although he probably doesn't understand a thing) Jess: "So, how was it?" Julian: "I think...." Jess: "Was it that bad? Oh no, I'll get to editing that presentation right away!" Julian: "I was just joking! It's super good, Jess!" Jess: "... Really?" Julian: "Yeah!" Jess: "Would it be good enough to go to school right now and present it?" Julian: "I would totally do that. Go rock that presentation!" Thanks to Julian's pep talk, Jess got very confident mood. She walked out with her presentation in her inventory just like that. Sadly she came back without feedback on the presentation. Well, that's okay. The only thing left to do now is the term paper! She worked on her first draft for hours. Jess: "Finally! The first draft is done! So, how late is it..." She looked on the clock. It was already past midnight. Jess: "Oh no. Kai. The twins!!" Yeah, time to check on those! Jess: "Hey, can I help you with something?" Kai: "Oh, hi! No, everything has been taken care of. You should rest a bit. Two tests, a presentation and a term paper? That's a lot of work. I'm just going to clean up this glass and then I'm joining you in bed. Okay?" Jess: "Yeah. Okay. Thank you Kai. Really" Kai: "Don't mention it! I love doing this!" Goodnight!
